After a long break, recently I started revisiting my old carnatic songs with the hope of improving my voice control. I thought it will be fun to pick a "lite carnatic" song and apply all the things I learnt from this past year of audioblogging experience to it as well.
The song I am posting today is a tamil song composed by N.S. Chidambaram set in Shamugapriya ragam. If you don't stop me now you might be in big trouble because I am planning to post more carnatic songs. So please take a quick second to place a red flag for your own good.
Thanks for your visit and as always appreciate your honest feedback to improve myself.

Thanks Ajitha, for the time and feedback. Will post atleast a few more carnatic songs for sure and its all your fault :).
Thanks Priti. Welcome back. Thanks for the compliments. I love this raagam too, one of my favs. I am sure a lot of people are crazy about Shanmugapriya.
Good attempt. Sangathis would be better if fine tuned. There are some off key notes too here and there. Shruthi seems perfect though. Keep singing!
Thanks Sindhuja for the time and valuable feedback. Will try another carnatic song soon and will keep these comments in mind.
Good rendition, as usual. Great voice ...

You have got a very good voice and rendered the song well, but in some places, there is slight off keys which can be definitely improved with practice. Good luck !
Thanks Vijayasri for the valuable feedback. Comments like yours are encouraging me very much these days to pay more attention and fix my "careless" issues. Hope to leap to the next level soon.
