This song I am posting today is one of the very best of KJY songs IMHO. When it comes to KJY’s Tamil songs, this and “Dheivam Thandha veedu” are probably the top favorites for most of his hardcore fans. I was thrilled to see this track on TKN and gave it a shot. The track wasn’t that great, esp. the flute in the original BGM was the life of this song and that was replaced with keyboard. Still couldn’t control my urge to attempt this song. It wasn’t an easy single take song as well, needless to say. Gave it my best shot and here is the result.
I am constantly looking for Dheivam Thandha veedu as well. Hope to render it someday as well. Your honest feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Your voice has a striking similarity to Yesudas/Madhu Balakrishnan....my honest feedback, the modulations can be improved..all else is good!
Thanks Ajitha, for taking the time to provide the compliments and the valuable feedback.
I knew the song sounded flat :), but I think I have reached my max potential for this song at this point, so gave up. Will reattempt after a couple of weeks break with fresh set of ears and post it again.
I am really enjoying this media to get comments like these that makes me work more on the right path. Once again appreciate your time.

With regular practice you'll rock.!!
Keep it coming!!
I loved this song + I'd like to voice the same thoughts as Ajitha.
Thankyou very much for the time and encouraging compliments Venkitu. I stopped learning carnatic music about 7 years back and completely stopped singing. I am trying to take this more seriously now and finding time for this. Hope to get better everyday.
Will reattempt this song for more emotions soon.
Btw, love all your tamil work. Very crisp and conventional.
TC ...hearing this song from Mumbai :)
The recording is awesome and your voice in this song has the depth of a professional. You are catching up quickly for all these years of non-singing :-)
